For my final University project, I created a layout for the book 'A Very Short Introduction to Autism'. I wanted to visualise autism in a way that makes the condition approachable and understandable.

I have used patterns to symbolise how an autistic brain works, showing that they react differently to someone who doesn't have autism. The colours also reflect this, as blue is a calming colour and red is a trigger colour, showing how the brain reacts directly to colours. The book is used as a teaching mechanism for the condition.
