edward stone supplies & landscaping

logo & website design

While working at Datum CP, I created a new look for a local Stone Supplies and Landscaping company. Their old logo was very dated, and they wanted a new look as they were updating the name of the company also.

I tried to reflect the landscaping side of the company through the logo design, while also continuing to use the oak leaf from their old logo. I combined this with the 'e' to create a mostly typographic logo. I tried to keep it as simple as possible, to keep it minimal and easy to understand.

I also then had the chance to create a website for this client, using Squarespace. It was quite a specific brief for this, as the shop had to be the homepage and all of the content had to be the same as the previous website. It did allow me to add the new logo design and then reflect this throughout the whole website using colour and typefaces. This gave the 'landscaping/woodland' feel. The website can be found at edwardssupplies.co.uk

When leasing with the client, I created some mock ups of a potential business card, brochure and mobile website design to show them how the new logo could work across the brand. These are purely for the concept, so were therefore changed at a later date to suit the company.
