branding identity (sudanese restaurant)

This was a brief set to create an identity for a new Sundanese restaurant. I wanted to create something that looked rustic but appealed to a younger audience that are interested in 'hip' and 'cool' restaurants. I created the icon by hand before digitalising it. I used warm colours t reflect the culture, along with patterns inspired by the culture. When choosing the name of the restaurant, I decided that I would look into the cuisine from the country and see if it would spark an idea for the branding. I found that the main food eaten in Sudanese restaurants was stew, so I decided to base my restaurant, and all of the food sold there, around stew. I am really happy with how this identity turned out as I think it looks professional.
