The editorial project was to design as magazine about a subculture of my choice. I chose the Pokemon subculture, as this was a subject that interests me. I created the images myself with Adobe Illustrator, which were referenced from official images of Pokemon. I also typeset all of the text for the magazine, pulling out certain quotes to break up the big bulks of text, using columns to make it look professional. I also used a white background to create breathing room for the text, but I used one coloured page on each spread that matched the colour of the Pokemon. I really like how this project developed, and I think that the final outcome is professional.
